La
Cúpula
Entrance room with gas fireplace heater - room to dance
The corner salon - room to dance
Living/dining room - leads to private main bedroom and bath
The Terrace - one of the most magnificent rooftops
in Buenos Aires.
The Palacio Barolo (1923), designed by the Italian architect Mario Palanti, is directly across from La Cúpula. Palanti also designed the Palacio Salvo, an equally delirius building located in the center of Montevideo on the Plaza Independencia. Both buildings have rotating search-lights that at one time could be seen across the Rio de La Plata.

'La Inmobiliaria', named after the insurance company, was inaugurated in 1910, the centenary of Buenos Aires. The building's illumination added to the festive atmosphere during the centenary celebrations in Buenos Aires that year.
